I am currently an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri. Previously I was working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Darden School of Business. My research focuses on retail investor behavior, ETFs, and mutual fund managers. This includes the effect of fear and anxiety on mutual fund flows, as well as households' stock market decisions. More recent projects examine the implications of short-selling in ETFs on proxy voting, information transmission among mutual fund managers in the presence of competition, and the performance implications of management team disclosures. Further details on my current research projects can be found here and information on my teaching experience may be found here
